DESCRIPTION:
The single-jet meter is based on a vertical axis turbine with a single passage directing water to the turbine and another directing water from the turbine. The flow of water acts on the turbine in a paddle wheel fashion. The turbine rotation is converted to a volume reading via the gearing of the counter.
WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The water operates on the velocity principle that a jet of water enters the water meter body and drives the impeller. The impeller is suspended by hydrodynamic forces to give minimum load on the bearings. The impeller rotation is magnetically transmitted to the register which the reading is made.
APPLICATION:
This Single-jet type of speed water meter is a impeller water meter with magnetic transmission and used to measure the total quantity of cold potable water which consumed in household or a resident unit, passing through the pipeline.

●The body can be plastic painted or chrome coated, or nickel coated for optional.
●Suitable for horizontal installation R80 and R100 or vertical installation R25.
●For hot water up to 90℃ is available.
●Plastic body, incline register 45°, external regulating device for optional.

MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE ERROR:
In the lower zone from Q1 inclusive up to but excluding Q2 is: Cold potable and hot water meter ± 5%
In the upper zone from Q2 inclusive up to and including Q4 is: Cold potable water meter ± 2%, hot water meter ± 3%
